Stream won''t start or keeps buffering

If the broadcast freezes or refuses to launch, the first thing to check is upload speed — BIGO LIVE needs at least 3–5 Mbps for a stable 720p stream. Run a speed test, then restart your router. If you''re on mobile data, switch to Wi-Fi or move closer to the access point. Also close background apps eating up bandwidth.

App crashes on launch

Force-stop the app, clear its cache (Settings → Apps → BIGO LIVE → Clear Cache), then reopen. If that doesn''t help, uninstall and reinstall the latest version from the official store. Outdated builds often conflict with server-side updates.

Login errors and account access issues

- Double-check that Caps Lock is off and credentials are entered correctly

- If you log in via Facebook or Google, make sure that linked account is accessible

- Reset your password through the official recovery flow — the reset email sometimes lands in spam

- If the error code is 10004 or similar, the session token is stale: log out fully, clear app data, and log back in

Coins not credited after purchase

Payment went through but balance didn''t update — wait 5–10 minutes and refresh the app. If nothing changes, go to your purchase history in the app settings and check the transaction status. Contact support with the order ID from your email receipt: that''s the fastest way to get it resolved.

Video feed won''t load or shows black screen

This usually points to a DNS or CDN issue. Switch your device DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 in network settings. On Android, toggle Airplane Mode on and off to reset the connection. If the problem persists across different networks, the issue is likely a regional server load spike — wait 15–20 minutes and try again.

High ping during live streams

Latency above 200ms makes interaction laggy and ruins the experience. Try switching from 5 GHz Wi-Fi to 2.4 GHz for better range stability, or vice versa if you''re close to the router. Disconnect other devices sharing the same network. In the app''s stream settings, lower the video quality from HD to SD — this alone can cut ping significantly.
